Hello, I'm Séverine, a garden designer, horticulturalist, and environmentalist based in Manchester, UK.
I have been gardening professionally since 2007 and offer services in garden design, horticulture, and care for the environment.
I have gained my horticultural skills from getting stuck in on the family farm in France, working with other gardeners and landscapers and by formal study. Some of my work experiences include Glebelands market garden, a Manchester organic urban food growing business and Arley Hall gardens, 8 acres of RHS affiliated gardens in Cheshire. I have a degree in environmental studies, a certificate in garden design from Reaseheath College and a RHS horticultural qualification. I also had the priviledge to be mentored by artist and garden designer, Kate Davies.
Prior to striking out as an independent, I worked for 8 years at the Groundwork Trust, an environmental regeneration charity, based in Greater Manchester.
In April 2011, with fellow horticulturalist Brenda Smith, I opened Bud Garden Centre, in South Manchester. I left this business in January 2015 in order to focus on garden design, landscaping and horticultural consultancy.
For more information about how I can help you or to discuss a project idea, don’t hesitate to get in touch.
